Kiwi is a small and soft fruit. This tropical fruit is rich in nutrients such as vitamin C (154% per 100 g), vitamin A, vitamin B6, calcium, iron and magnesium which are very beneficial for health. Kiwi flesh is green with a unique sour taste.

Green kiwi

This is the most common kiwi in the market. As the name implies, this product has a brown skin and a green flesh with black seeds.

Yellow kiwi

Golden or yellow kiwi is a new type of kiwi which is more delicious than the green one. It tastes like mango and strawberry combined. There is a significant difference between green, red and golden kiwi variants. Golden kiwis have a smooth skin with no fuzz which is light brown. The golden kiwi has a yellow flesh with fewer small seeds.

Red kiwi

It has a soft and pale flesh with a red ring around the seeds. Anthocyanin causes the release of the red substance in kiwis. This substance can also be found in red oranges, raspberries, strawberries, etc. Red kiwis have a soft and juicy texture with a sweet taste like berries.
